Semantic model access not available

Multiple participants in discord have asked about Semantic Model access but haven't received a response. The hackathon rules mention "semantic modeling" in one of the judging criteria, but none of us can create semantic projects. Is this feature disabled for the hackathon workspace? If so, should we skip it for our submissions?
